Promising two-year-old filly Enliven returns to Aqueduct, USA, on Saturday, 1 December for the G2 Demoiselle Stakes over nine furlongs on dirt.

The daughter of Ghostzapper kept on well to finish a clear second in the mile G3 Tempted Stakes at the New York course on Friday, 2 November. She was beaten five lengths by Oxy Lady, but came home seven lengths clear of the third, Surge Of Pride, in the seven-runner race.

Enliven made two appearances in maidens, following up a debut fourth over six furlongs at Saratoga on 26 August with a comfortable victory over an extended mile at Belmont Park in 30 September.

Joe Bravo again partners Enliven, who is drawn in stall one in a field of seven that also features Rags To Riches Stakes second Molto Bella and Belmont Park maiden winner Filly Joel.

Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin commented: “Enliven is doing very well and we hope that she will enjoy racing over two turns.

“She ran well in the Tempted Stakes, when she was beaten by a good filly, and I don’t think that the step up in distance will be an issue.

“She is out of It’s Tricky and a half-sister to Enticed, so it would be nice to win a Stakes race - we already gained Black Type last time and now we would really like to win one.”
