Godolphin claimed the final Pattern race of the European season as Powder Snow recorded a decisive victory in the G3 Prix Fille de l’Air over an extended 10 furlongs at Toulouse, France, on Friday, November 11.
The Henri-Alex Pantall-trained filly, an unlucky sixth in the in the G1 Premio Lydia Tesio on her previous start, tracked the leaders in fourth early on before moving up to second for Aurelien Lemaitre with half a mile to race.
She stayed on powerfully to take the lead from Restiana approaching the final half-furlong before quickening clear to score by three lengths in 2m 15.25s on heavy ground.
Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: “Powder Snow won very easily today and it is great to see her win a G3 contest. She was unlucky last time out in Italy but the race went really well for her today."
