Originally one of Australia’s leading owner-breeders, the property became part of Godolphin in 2008.
For decades, Woodlands has been home to some of the most influential thoroughbreds in Australian racing, earning its reputation through outstanding bloodstock and the skilled people who have supported them.
Today, the property is an important part of Godolphin’s Australian operation, raising mares and foals, developing young horses through their early education, and providing a well-managed home for thoroughbreds after racing.

In more recent years notable Group 1 winners Alizee, Astern, Earthquake, Epaulette, Exosphere, Guelph, Holler, Impending, Kementari, Kiamichi, Microphone and multiple G1 winner Anamoe have been born and raised at Woodlands.
Woodlands is the resting place of influential stallions Octagonal, Canny Lad and Strategic.
