gelded before debut; dam 5f winner (RPR 72), half-sister to winners Mischief Magic (5.5f Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint), Sound And Silence (6f 2yo Group 3) and Silent Bullet (useful 7f 2yo) out of unraced half-sister to 1m 2yo Group 1 winner Ibn Khaldun; ran better than sixth place suggests in 7f novice at Haydock in July 2023 and then again when well held at Lingfield on soft (ran too free); appreciated return to good ground when winning 5f novice at Windsor on third start in August and ran well again when caught close home in 5f handicap at Goodwood in September; perhaps unsuited by good to soft ground when running below that level at Yarmouth later that same month; back to winning form on the AW at Lingfield (6f) in November and followed up in good time over 5f at Newcastle in February; respectable run in the Wokingham (6f) on next start after missing the break; followed that with fair fifth in Stewards' Cup over 6f and also ran well in 6f heritage handicap at York in August, repeatedly denied a run in latter race; no such excuse when only tenth in the Portland in September.
