Wayward Act seeks more Tokyo glory in G3 Negishi Stakes

Prolific dirt scorer Wayward Act chases a third straight win at Tokyo on his Graded Stakes debut in the G3 Negishi Stakes on Sunday, 1 February.

The six-year-old has won six times for Hiroyasu Tanaka, in addition to placing on his other five career appearances, and steps up in class on the back of a pair of comfortable Stakes victories in May and November.

Wayward Act also enjoyed Stakes success at Tokyo in November, 2024, and the son of Maclean’s Music finished a clear second on his sole Listed appearance in Chukyo’s Subaru Stakes at the start of last year.
